On a related note, is $19.96 the new Blu-Ray new release price or is this merely a holiday thing? I like the new technology but can't bear myself to ever spend more than twenty dollars for a standard new release.....

Up to retailers to see if they continue to deeply discount BR titles.

I bet we'll see the big releases still come out around $20, but I imagine most of the others will still be in around $25. I was disappointed in the (500) Days of Summer pricing

Why is it that every Walmart has different pricing? I have 3 different Walmarts around me and each one has different media prices? Aren't they all one store?

If your Wal-Mart is out in the sticks, you'll end up paying more for a lot of things.
The Wal-Mart I usually shop at is a rural one, and it's a nice, clean, well-organized store. But you'll end up paying out the ass for a lot of things. They had Inglorious Basterds for $29.99 on release day. (I paid $12 for mine at Target with the $5 and $3 coupons.)
