Happy that I ordered this for $40 from Amazon. One man's junk is another's treasure. Fine price for a fantastic set of one of the all time great movies.

Really don't want all the extra junk but may eventually purchase this set if it ever gets under $30. I wish Warner would just release the movie with the disc of extras in the US. Considered getting the import at Amazon.uk but think it is currently overpriced.

There is no "junk" in this box set because it has the second BD of extras, a DVD documentary, soundtrack CD, hardbound book, and souvenir replica program.
Hardly junk in my opinion since you have to import the international release to get a two-disc BD or pay $35 for the single disc Target US exclusive.

I ended up with the Target one for $3 thanks to a coupon snafu, but may still buy this. The extra stuff sounds neat.

Received this before Christmas and held off opening until the 25th. Let me tell you, well worth it at this price for one of the greatest movies of all time. Brilliant resoration in a well designed and full box. This will proudly go up on the shelf next to the Wizard of Oz box and hope that Warner continues boxes in the future.

I was hoping to be able to get the discs by themselves, without the printed materials, sooner or later (like they did with Wizard). But at this price point, my resistance was broken so I ordered one. It's out for delivery today; can't wait.

Amazon.co.uk just dropped their price a couple of pounds, now you can get the UK 2-disc version for $23.71 shipped to the US. It has all the BD content on the first 2 discs of the US "big box set" but lacks the "When the Lion Roars" DVD, the soundtrack sampler CD, and all the paper goods. Still, if you just want the movie and the special features, you can't go wrong. The discs are Region-ABC coded and all extras are NTSC-friendly.
Price was calculated in USD using "Amazon Currency Converter" which locks in the exchange rate, BTW.

Received mine today. It's put together good. The only thing bad is the bonus disc of "When the Lion Roars" documentary. It's a dvd flipper. But still good.

It's a great set, I just wish the discs were in a normal-sized BD case so I could shelf it with the rest of my Blu-Rays.
