stupid question, but this is listed as Region 2? will it work in the States?

It will but the special features are likely in pal and may not work In your player.

I googled around before placing my order and the consensus on several other forums seems to be that pretty much all Warner Blu-rays are region free, but that on some movies in some regions they put a region coding emblem on the box anyway.

There is also a lot of cool imports for sale on Amazon UK.

Also, the Godfather trilogy is selling for $32 shipped but it's even less if you purchase different blu rays and combine them into one order.

The Dirty Harry UK Bluray is identical to the US version. Same subtitle options and same audio options. There are no PAL extras, and is region free, as all Warner Titles are. (except for just 1 that I can recall being locked....)
