i know walmart usually accepts competitors coupons, but will best buy honor these? i wanna pick up Weeds seasons 1-4, but my target only has season 3 & 4. I was at best buy and saw they had all 4 in stock. I was gonna look through this thread, but 25 pages is too much to go through lol

the most craziest crap dvd hunting today,completely shut out,i went to 2 targets and 1 walmart and all were sold out of inglourious basterds on blu ray.i wanted to get it from target to use the 2 coupons,but i was willing to get it from walmart with just the $3 off too and nothing lol.even the hangover was yet to been seen.but they had tons of G-Force.

no problem getting Inglorious Basterds for $11.99 with the $5 target and the $3 manufacturer's.

I printed a few more but forgot to bring it with me. was thinking about getting "Angels and Demon" in Blu with maybe DaVinci Code.

Snagged Hangover for $15, IB for $12 (cashier almost gave me guff but I just offered her a different coupon, I think the ink might have been smudged) and Terminator with lenticular cover for $5.

Picked up Inglorious Basterds today. Had both the mfg's coupon and the Target coupon at the ready. Paid for it (and a couple of other things) at the electronics counter, since I've read so many stories on here about how the electronics counter folks seem to have a better grasp on the coupon policy, etc.

Dude almost refused the Target coupon, saying it was for Transformers only. I asked him to look again, particularly at the wording. "Good on blu-ray purchase... oh, okay, I get it," and rang it up accordingly. Stupid Target - only putting the Transformers image on their coupon... I've already seen some posts wherein people have been denied for that very reason. Glad I wasn't one of them!

Got IB for $8.99. I love new employees. He thought the scanner wasn't working and accidentally scanned the $3 coupon twice. So $19.99 - 5 - 3 - 3 = 8.99 + tax.

Hit my local Target today...picked up "Inglourious Basterds" at the Electronics counter like I did last week. This time the coupon scanned without having someone come running with a walkie talkie. Nice= $11.99 + tax.

Picked up a few things and a copy of "Basic Instinct", brought them to the main checkouts where an eager young clerk said, "Oh, do you have the $5 web coupon?" as he was actually reaching for his wallet to give me one! Told him I was covered, he rang it all up as we chatted about Blu-Ray. As I left, told him, "I might be back soon!" Sweet= $4.99 + tax.

Headed back over to the BR section where the "Kill Bill"s were calling out to me. Headed back to wait in the short line where my new-found friend smiled and headed back for his wallet, when I said, "No, I have 2 more...can you stack these?" "No worries," he said. "I'm picking up these 2 myself on my break." Lush= $9.99 + tax

My great experience at Target - 4 cool Blu Rays out the door at $40.40...and to all a good night!

I second that. I NEVER used to shop at Target. Only once in a blue moon to pick up some chew sticks my dogs especially like, but with this $5 deal... I've visited multiple locations probably a half dozen times in the past week or two. Never let it be said such things don't draw in business from people who would not otherwise shop at the store. 12/24 will be a bittersweet day, indeed.

I was at Target today to try to find Weeds BD to pricematch to Best Buy. They didn't have it, I ended up ordering it from Bestbuy.com (my local Best Buy was out of it).

But anyway, while there I saw this girl in the DVD isle, just browsing around and looking around like she didn't know what she wanted. Then it came to me - I had seen her the last time I was in Target looking at books (next to DVDs) a few weeks ago. Cute girl, I saw her in one isle and moved on. Ran across her in two more isles, she seemed to be where I was. I avoided her in a couple aisles that time since in my mind it looked like I was following her. After seeing her in the same place today it came to me that she is undercover security at this Target.

This is the same Target where the then-director of the Lincoln Presidential Museum got busted about a year ago for shoplifting Season 4 of House, he lost his $200,000 a year job over it.

She was good at watching what was going on around her without being obvious. Her only fault was being too cute, I remembered her which is not what security people want. Of course I wasn't stealing anything. Or it is a strange coincidence, meeting the same girl in the same aisle the only two times I have been to this Target's DVD/book section in the past year.

And I thought you were gonna say you asked her out! LOL

You should've shoved some product down your pants in plain sight of her and then walked up and demanded that she check you for shoplifted goods. Really bury it to make her work for it.

Just got back from my local Target. PM'd Twister and The Dark Knight (for secret santa) from the BB ad so I got both for $9.99 each. Then I used the 3rd coupon to bring A Bug's Life down to $14.99. Not bad. Guest Service employee didn't even blink. I even told her I think it needed to be 3 separate transactions but she said that she can do it in one. Even congratulated me for saving $40. :-)

I was trying to price match a Best Buy Ad at Target and the employee told me they couldn't because the price tag on the ad stated "After Savings" for the movie versus some other items on that page did not have "After Savings." The "After Savings" phrase meant you could only get that pricing at Best Buy with a special customer program card. I pointed out that over half the ad was marked like and questioned her that no one could buy any of those items with a program card? I ask her to call Best Buy to confirm this. She refused and finally after more time had passed she agreed to do the price match. Surprisingly she had no problem taking the $5 coupon after the whole ordeal with the ad wording. I thought after everything the $5 coupon would be a complete lost cause.

As bad as some people's horror stories about Best Buy are..I have to say that Target's price match policy really blows in real life compared to "on paper" and Best Buy is much easier.

Damn, and I thought I got lucky with IB. I was checking out, all ready to give the guy my coupons, and he looked at IB and ripped off the $5 coupon on the front of the slipcover and scanned that. It was supposed to be for the combined purchase of IB and the new American Pie movie or Funny People or Public Enemies or Bruno, but the guy didn't notice that part and neither did the register.

Of course I still tried the $3 coupon as well, but the register wouldn't allow that. It did take the Target coupon and I got IB for $9.99.

I later found The Terminator with a Lenticular slipcover and snagged that for $5.

2 curiousity questions:
1. Was I imagining that there was a $3 off mfg. coupon for Get Smart (2008) on BR?
2. Was the $3 off mfg. coupon for Public Enemies available last week when BB had the BR listed at $19.99?

This coupon is causing me to spend way too much money on BR. I am buying movies I would not normally buy just because they are $5.00 or $7.00
I am also upgrading titles I would not normally do for $15.00 but am willing to upgrade for $7.00.
I have used the coupon 13 times now.

I pulled the last copy of IB from the target I visited. G-Force was getting low also. Their re-stocking stinks esp on release week.

Picked up Talladega Nights for $5 yesterday after a price match to Meijer and the coupon. Awesome! The price match and coupon combo worked flawlessly at the service counter. I've used the coupon six times now and loving it!

I think I'll go back and get Step Brothers for $5 with another PM and coupon.
