Did Amazon just drop the price of John Adams BLU-RAY to $24.99 since I checked last night and then raise it back up to $45.49 this morning? I doubt it. Most likely you were looking at the SD version. This deal is talking about the Blu-Ray.

Now it wouldn't surprise me for Amazon to match the price several days later... after I and most others have already gotten ours at Best Buy but I wasn't going to wait around forever for Amazon while Best Buy ran out of stock.

Finally! It sure took Amazon long enough! Now the big question for me... order it from Amazon to save about $1.50 ($2 in tax minus basically $.50 in BBY RZ credits) and return the one I picked up at BBY, or just keep the BBY one. Decisions, decisions...

Well....since it is at Amazon now, I just may not pickup my order at BB. I was hoping to pick this and Farscape up at the same time but I had to have Farscape shipped and since I would be going about 10 minutes out of my way for BB.....that $1.75 in tax could be a breaker.

Got a 10% off coupon from BB so hopefully I can pick one up with a slight discount. Even without one, I prefer to get it from BB instead of Amazon just in case I change my mind or find a cheaper price later on I can always return it to a BB store. With Amazon, returning anything is a bit of a hassle and their prices are all over the place on their sales.

Let us know if the coupon works for you because I've never had a 10% off coupon work at BB on any sale item for at least a couple years. Your only chance is having someone override it which they don't have to do. The "markdowns taken from regular prices" wording on every BB coupon is there for a reason... to prevent people from being able to use them on anything on sale at a good price (like this set). BB's "regular prices" aren't very good, so I almost never buy anything at regular price... hence I always end up throwing these worthless 10% off coupons away.

I noticed that the blu is also $22.99 at BB right now as well. Store pickup is not available, but some stores may have one.

I ended up with my at Amazon the other day for $24.99, which I thought was a steal...too bad they won't adjust the price back for me.

I watched this when it was first on and can't recommend it enough. I'm a history buff and thoroughly enjoyed it. Even friends who aren't really in to American history totally dug it. It's really well-done. For $22, it's a steal.
