Target BD prices 11/15-11/21

All credit goes to "D head" at blu-ray.com:

Star Trek - 24.99 (regular version), 29.99 (exclusive Enterprise case version)
My Sister's Keeper - 25.99
Bruno - 25.99
Gone With The Wind (Target exclusive 1-disc version) - 34.99
Twilight - 24.99

You can check out a scan of the page here:

Sadly, no rumored Goonies is shown....
Maybe it is delayed or isn't being advertised?

No bargain here. Maybe Walmart will have a 3 disc Gone With The Wind blu-ray for $19.99. I guess I keep my preorder from Amazon.co.uk.

Pretty weak. The Enterprise thing looks kind of cool, but it looks like getting the discs would be a PITA.

(I've also seen the Target Black Friday ad. Don't get excited, it basically looks like Amazon right now.)

FYI -- The GWTW disc is $12.99 (as is Gremlins and the Wizard of Oz 3 disc) in Target's Black Friday ad.

$12.99 for the 3 disc WOO is awesome, but still not enough to get me to wait in line overnight.

Re: Target BD prices 11/15-11/21

Are you sure that GWTW is only 1-disc? There's nothing that specifies that in the ad. I seriously doubt they would charge that much for a 1-disc movie. If so, then I'm wondering what the $12.99 Wizard of Oz is. I do hope that they're both the 3-disc set. That's an unbelievable price. Too bad I'm broke. I definitely need to get some money

I really hope Goonies is still coming out. Even if its not advertised, I would pay normal price for it.

Absolutely, it has been confirmed by a Target employee, sadly it is only 1 disc...
He took pictures of it in the back stock room of his store, and you can see them here:

I agree. Especially when Target will probably only have 5 or 6 copies per store. I will do my Black Friday shopping online. After hearing about that Walmart employee on Long Island, NY being crushed to death on a Black Friday, I'd rather spend more money.

Unfortunately no...only the standard DVD is listed for $16.99, with a free $10 gift card offer if it is purchased along with any previous season of the show...

Re: Target BD prices 11/15-11/21

yeah hopefully the woo and gwtw will be 12.99 online at target those days, though the bestbuy iam going to hit first is right next to a target (and the owners of that shopping plaza dont permit camping out over night ) so perhaps after i get my tickets the door busters i want at bestbuy i can just walk over to target and try to get woo and gwtw.

FWIW, my Targets have always been very well stocked with Black Friday items.

Re: Target BD prices 11/15-11/21

I obviously see where the discs go in the special case, but my question is this and the answer may be obvious, too. It comes with the 3 disc blu-ray set, right? So where do the other 2 discs go? Are they all meant to be stacked on top of each other in the ship (which would suck) or does it also come with a regular blu-ray case?

That's a good question. Can't wait to find out the answer. As it looks now, they have to be stacked in the saucer section. I wonder if anything separates them?

Re: Target BD prices 11/15-11/21

Walmart by me had stacks of the Star Trek BD sitting on the counter. I think they were putting price stickers on them. Nobody was in that department at all so I thought about grabbing one and trying to buy it early, but I don't even want the movie, so I didn't.

/Awesome story.
