The rights are divided across three different studios (Fox/MGM for the original, Lionsgate for part 2, and Warner for the rest), so the chance of a box set is very, very, very, very remote, at least in the U.S.

WalMart now has Star Wars Clone Wars season one Blu at $32.46, dropping below Amazon's $34.99. However, WM doesnt offer free shipping, so Amazon wins for this one.

The guy was asking about in-store prices....the leaked print ad pertains to the brick & mortar stores, not online....walmart.com is run as a separate entity and their pricing does not reflect what you will necessarily find in stores, and in fact, Walmart stores will not even price match walmart.com as policy....

if you are able to find the 'right' employee at walmart, they will price match their own website. ive gotten lucky and have been able to do it several times now.

I think Amazon wins mostly for me since they don't charge tax and offer free shipping over $25 buxs. The difference in prices is very minimal on most of the titles.

On a related note, I've had the Up combo pack preordered since it was announced. I paid for it with giftcards and my balance is currently -$1.50. Do you guys think they will credit me that $1.50 when it comes out? I figured they would move that balance to my gift card account but no luck yet.

True, as always YMMV, as some people have gotten employees at many stores to price match things from other places whether they actually should have or not...the "official" B&M store policy is not to match their website however...

There should be a button next to Payment Method marked Change. Press it.
Then on the next screen click the Retry button under your primary credit card. Press it.
This will reset your order total (and since you paid with GCs, you won't be charged) and it will deposit any negative balance back into your Amazon gift card balance.

Thanks for the help! I appreciate it! Now to apply that towards Inglorious Basterds....

So, if it's down to $15.99 (I'm tempted) what are the chances that if I pre-order it and on release day some crazy $10 coupon hits the net... I vow not to get burned again, so I'll take my chances and wait for the dust to settle. No more pre-orders for me.

Yeah, I'm not pre-ordering from Amazon anymore, either.
The only item I managed to come out ahead in with pre-ordering is Stephen King's new book. I pre-ordered for $9, and haven't seen it lower than $17 since...

I guess you haven't checked lately, because it's been $14.99 for a few days.

Yes, I know.
My point was, that as much as people complain about how prices drop to below the pre-order price after release date and getting screwed out of a couple dollars, that is not always the case. I was able to get the pre-order price guarantee of $13.99. The price has not dropped to that price or below it yet.
