Borders 40% off one item coupon

I don't know if someone has posted this before.

Use coupon code BRE1129H to take 40% off one item. You can use it on DVD, Blu-ray, books, etc. Coupon will expire on 11/2. You don't need to be member to get the 40% off.

I ordered The Wizard of Oz Ultimate Collector's Editor Blu-ray $71.99 - $18.00 (40%) = $53.99 + Free shipping (over 25$).

Edit: The 40% off is calculated off of the item's list price

Unless you have Borders gift cards to use up, you can get Wizard of Oz for less money at Amazon and Best Buy. Borders also has 50% off of Blu-ray coupons(in-store) every so often. That would make this set $42.49 + tax. If you do order through borders.com, make sure that you go through ******** to receive 4% cash back.

Re: Borders 40% off one item coupon

I get at least two Borders coupons a week via email because I signed up for their free rewards program two years ago when I bought a T.C. Boyle audio book on cassette on clearance. I've never used a single one. I was even at the store right next to Borders last night and had no desire to walk in.

Is it me? Is it them?

Them. I get those coupon emails all the time, too, and never use them. Like everyone has said, unless you have some GCs to burn up (I just got a $10 GC from debit card rewards), even with 40%-50% off, Borders' regular prices are so fraggin' high, the discount still rarely gets you a really great deal.

PS But thanks for posting, OP. Will hunt around and see if the code + my GC will turn up a good deal.

I used this coupon to pre-order the G.I. Joe boxset. It ended up costing $101.00 delivered.. It also worked on Transformers.

I use them frequently for books for my daughter but they also work on Legos ... I picked up the Anniversary Darth Vader Tie Fighter for my son for $18.
