Chronicle for $10

I checked out the Fox Easter assortment when I was there yesterday. No LAST TEMPTATION, but there was also THE BIBLE (IN THE BEGINNING...), and THE GREATEST STORY EVEN TOLD.

Didn't see Harry Hausen but picked up the Robe and Greatest Story Ever Told.

I saw the Harryhausen collection at a Costco in a really out-of-the-way part of town I was visiting yesterday. I have 7th Voyage of Sinbad and was reluctant to double-dip.

Now, of course, I could kick myself for not picking it up. Even for the remaining 3 movies it comes to $10 per flick, which is (should have been) a no-brainer.

With my luck, none of the other four (and much closer) Costcos will have it.

What was I thinking?

Ten Commandments Gift Set ( Big Box) includes silent version $30.

THE PASSION OF THE CHRIST is there for $9.99, not THE LAST TEMPTATION OF CHRIST as was conjectured. These are Fox Easter titles on sale, not Criterion!

Looking at the display now and I think I mistook The Greatest Story Ever Told for Last Temptation of Christ. When glanced at quickly, Max Von Sydow looked like Willem Dafoe.

Hobbit was $18.99 at my local Costco (Orlando). Don't remember what the 3D version was off the top of my head.

My Costco had the big box Limited Edition of The Ten Commandments for $29.99 .

They seem to have stock up on some titles. I saw all the the above mentioned titles.

Tempted by the Ten Commandments but I may just pick up the Ten Commandments/ Ben Hur combo pak at BJs for $12.99. Did not check if they had it there.

^ btw, the Hobbit 3D is $24.99.

All the Blu-rays in the previous post (including the four Criterions) were at the St. Louis, MO South County Costco earlier tonight. (I know there's at least one other St. Louis Costco reader on this board...)

How much is that Underworld collection in the picture?
