You could potentially double-up on the new titles for $10 off total. They probably both say, "Coupon may not be combined with any other offer or coupon," but I've done it plenty of times before with no hassle. It helps if you use the Self Checkout. :D

Please note that the price of Lost: The Complete Third Season [Blu-ray] has decreased from $59.49 to $53.99 since you placed it in your Shopping Cart. Items in your cart will always reflect the most recent price displayed on their product detail pages.

I'm pretty sure BB put it on sale first and Amazon matched it. BB is advertising deals on Star Trek sets. I've never seen BB.com match an Amazon sale, it is pretty much always the other way around.

Thanks to a post by iamian over at avsforum I discovered that tradebora currently has a buy 10 get 2 free deal. Current prices for most HD DVDs are $4.74, $4.44, and $3.94 with a few higher priced titles including boxsets such as BSG or Heroes for $9.99 each. I managed to put together an order for 12 $4.74 titles for $47.40, avergaing $3.95 each with free shipping. The discount is applied at checkout so you want see any mention of the deal at Amazon. Another BJ's coupon (YMMV), buy any 2 of the following...

The Wrestler
Notorious
Slumdog Millionaire

...and save $10.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2..._bjscoupon.jpg

Good 04/23 - 05/14. You could potentially double-up coupons, using two of the $5 off ANY BD as well, good through 05/08.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...off_anyblu.jpg

Most of BJ's BDs start out at $27.99, so that would be $10 off per disc.

The deal has been mentioned before, but I can confirm that there are a bunch of Universal HD DVDs (all combos, as far as I can recall) being sold for $4.99 each at the Albertson's stores here in the Boise area. If you've got an Albertson's nearby it might be worth a trip.

That traderbora deal is pretty sweet -- I wish there were 12 titles there that I really wanted.

To bad he raised the prices from $3.99 to $4.64. Even Heroes Season 1 went up in price. I would of brought another 10 titles. I brought 8 last week and some titles were even cheaper.

Maybe I should have spelled it out more clearly. "The discount is applied at checkout so you want see any mention of the deal at Amazon." You won't see the discount in your cart, you see it at the final stage of checkout. Unfortunately it appears that the deal is no longer valid as I just tried and no longer received a discount, so I didn't place the order. I still have a few titles I could buy but I'll wait for lower prices or a similar deal.

Just checked my bookshelf, and 6 is the only season I need. My OCD is telling me to get it in DVD (for probably a bit cheaper if I search) to keep them all uniform on the shelf, but hard to pass up a season this cheap on blu.

Re: One/Only HD/BD Bargains Thread Pt. IV: Back To Bargains

I almost sent you a PM thinking that price might interest you but felt presumptuous not even knowing if you liked the show.

Might be able to find the DVD for about $11 after tax/shipping/pickup but even $9.99 isn't common for new DVD sets. The same pieceofmindbooks seller has it new on their ebay store for $13.86 shipped also.

Hadn't checked ebay in awhile, and noticed that I had a 8% off coupon expiring in a few hours. Good timing. Bought it from pieceofmindbooks for $12.75 shipped. Now to start on season 1, never seen the show....

BJ's Club (YMMV) has Quantum of Solace for $27.99 with a $10.00 instant rebate, bringing it down to $17.99. Rebate's good through 05/10. Their $5 off any Blu-Ray coupon is still good through 05/08, so QoS is potentially $12.99 there. Thinking about picking it up, though I'd been waiting on an Amazon CR/QoS 2-pack. They'll do it as soon as I buy QoS. :p

This was at the Charlotte club. Not sure about Cary, but Charlotte never posts special markdown or instant rebate signs for their BDs, usually just the DVDs. You could probably find out by asking someone at the customer service desk to check for any instant rebates on Blu-Rays. I don't know why they don't post those. Good on ya' with the $10 coupon, though.
