I got a shipment from DVDplanet today... Two of the disks were "rattlers" -- severely scratched.

How's DVDplanet when it comes to returns/exchanges? I guess I'll find out the hard way... just wanted to get some impressions from others... Thanks.

I'd call them up and tell them about it.

Or have you and what have you found out ?

I mailed the scratched DVDs back in accordance with the "defective return policy" on their web-site, we'll see what happens...

Same thing happened to me with a dvdplanet order last week. I called them and they told me to send it back with the receipt and a note explaining the problem. I'm curious to see what happens too, since their "defective return policy" seems pretty much designed to protect them and not the customer. To make matters worse, the title I ordered is now showing as out of stock and they seem to have a "no refund, exchange only" policy.

Update: I got a replacement for one of the disks today, the other one is temporarily out of stock and will be shipped out ASAP.

Pretty good turn-around, I mailed off the defective disks on 3/9 and got this one on 3/16. (I'm in Northern California)
