What are your experiences with these because i am in the market to get one. Thanks.

Don't go for the bargain players, as they're all first-generation and are pretty crappy. The build quality is poor, and they barely even work the way that they're supposed. Wait for the second generation of players which is now starting with the RioVolt. Sony and other major brands supposedly have ones in the works.
