I remember really enjoying this the one time I saw it and I'm thinking of getting it. How's the quality, director's commentary, etc.?

Thanks

Get On the Bus is one of those movies I had been waiting a long time for release on DVD. If this isn't Spike Lee's best film, it certainly is one of my favorites alongside He Got Game, Clockers, X, and Do the Right Thing. As far as the disc itself, this is almost a bare bones release, except for a running commentary by Spike Lee. Like the Austin Powers and Fifth Element DVDs, you get a 1:85 version on one side, and a formatted version on the flip side. Spike's commentary leaves quite a few gaps of silence, though all of his thoughts were illuminating and appropriate. I am pleased to finally own this great movie on DVD, and think it is a very worthwhile purchase.
