Looking for comedy show recommedations
Since my wife and I just had our third child, we've been on the hunt for some new comedy series that we can watch during feedings. Here are a few things I would like to consider.
We don't watch a lot of TV so we are really out of touch what has aired the past ten years or so, so any good recommendations would be much appreciated
- Would like 30 minute episodes if possible
- We have access to Amazon Prime & Netflix (could also do DVD if available through our local library)
- Would like something with multiple seasons or a show that has already concluded

I have a feeling my wife and I will never stop re-watching The Office. It's her Netflix comfort food.

The Good Place. Both seasons are on Netflix and it's currently airing on TV. from the creator of Parks and Recreation.
It's animated, but my niece and I have been watching Boss Baby: Back in business on Netflix. It's a 1/2 hour animated comedy (13 episodes) based on the movie and it's quite funny. Might be amusing for you to watch since your a father of 3 kids with a newborn.

Both Brooklyn Nine-Nine and the aforementioned Good Place are from the same creative team members that did the Office and Parks and Rec. Both shows are excellent.

Re: Looking for comedy show recommedations
GLOW on Netflix was SO much better than it had any right to be. It's not even so much a show about pro wrestling as it is a great ensemble show that happens to have wrestling in it.
Plus season 2 drops next week so you don't have to wait like the rest of us had to.

The Office (Netflix)
Parks & Rec (Netflix)
Atypical (Netflix)
Shameless US (60 min episodes, Netflix)

As for a show you probably haven't watched but you and your wife will both enjoy very much: Schitt's Creek
UK comedies that might be new to you that I believe are all available on Netflix (no particular order):
Detectorists
The IT Crowd
The Office (UK)
Fawlty Towers
Extras
The Inbetweeners
Toast of London
Some that I believe are available on Amazon Prime:
Peep Show
Coupling
Black Adder
Black Books
Comedy is of course very subjective, but IMO these are all very funny.

One of my favorite underrated comedies is Better Off Ted, although it looks like that's on Hulu.
Looking at some of my other favorites, they all happen to be on Hulu oddly enough: My Name Is Earl, Community, Bob's Burgers
The Tick (2001 live action) is a quick watch (just 9 episodes) that is on Amazon

My wife and I have just about burned through Black-ish season one. Great family comedy. Alas, I think it's only on Hulu.
Also for all the Community recommendations, just watch the first three seasons.

Season 1 was August 2017, so I would assume August - September 2018. Netflix is lousy about letting you know things beforehand.

I'm really fond of Younger, now in its fifth season. Sutton Foster is a favorite of mine. She plays a 40-something who poses as a 20-something to get a job in the publishing industry. (TVLAND)
Also, Brockmire, now in its second season, about a baseball announcer with many, many substance problems. (IFC)
And, a blast from the past, Rescue Me was a terrific raunchy comedy about NY firefighters. (Not sure where to get this now)

It only ran two seasons and was just canceled, but look for Nobodies. Great ensemble comedy about struggling Hollywood writers that feel left behind because their friends have all become stars, like Melissa McCarthy.

Avoid all the comedies on ABC and CBS since they are all shit.

Thanks for all of the recommendations. Looks like we have some shows to check out. We'll start with the Amazon/Netflix ones first since we already have access to those.
