Wow...So I guess no one is watching this show? Pretty sad, there are some shows I see being discussed currently that don't even deserve an ounce more energy devoted to it compared to this show.
This last episode was one of the best tv hours I've seen in a good while. Stanley Kubrick would nod his head in acceptance of this episode. It was completely bonkers in the best way possible while still giving you more insight and explanation into David.

lol, true. It is definitely out there, but it is unlike anything on TV currently. Ratings aren't good right now and it would be an utter shame if this didn't get a 2nd season. There would be a Deadwood, Carnivale hole in my heart. I feel like they are starting to reveal more (with the last episode) and it seems a lot more clear to me what is happening. I love what Noah Hawley has done with the source material, he's completely nailed it so far IMO. Also, Hopefully there is more Aubrey Plaza. She's killed it in this show.

I was out of town last week and actually forgot Legion was on. As I didn't record it last week, I didn't watch it and thus forgot it was on this week too. And to be honest, I really don't feel the urge to catch up. So I guess I'm out.
I'm really disappointed with it - I was looking forward to it starting but the first 3 episodes just left me feeling disconnected from anyone and just not very interested. I seem to be in the minority as most people who like similar things to me rave about it, but it's just not my thing. Ah well.

Really liked how we just saw the after effect of his attack on D3 at first. Man was that devastating. Then to see the surveillance footage of him just skipping around like nothing was great. The main demon is really creepy. At first I wasn't sure about the show even though I enjoyed it but it seems like they have a grip of how to handle a character like Legion.

Damn this is good. This show is a perfect example of enjoying the ride rather than rushing to the end. I sense a binge re-watch once it is all out.

This was a great one. Threw me off when the sound went mute. Aubrey looked smoking hot in that scene where she's at the meeting.
The Shadow King is beyond creepy. It's like the Butterball Cenobite from Hellraiser.

Still watching and still loving this show. I think the sister is still hiding something. Why cant David see his father's face in his memories. In fact where are his parents? Are they supposed to be dead?

Well, she revealed he is adopted but I don't think that was any terrible shock. I agree though, there is something about the adoption and more about their childhood that she has not shared yet.

Another bravura performance from Bill Irwin. The idea of his mutation as one of the coolest things about this show.

Is The Eye a mutant or not? In the current episode it seemed that he was able to disguise his appearance.

I'm pretty sure he is a mutant, yeah. Wasn't he the dude Melanie was talking about earlier in the season that they tried to help at Summerland and he went rogue?

It wasn't really clear she was talking about him or that he was a mutant until the current episode where it seemed he could change his appearance- although that can be from some other means, like technology.

This might be too sophisticated for casual audiences. I do think it works better as binge material for the average person since following David's madness is quite demanding from episode to episode.
It's very likely Legion gets at least one more season even if the ratings don't improve. FX doesn't really give up on well-done shows very easily and this is their entry into the comic book fanspace.

I'm enjoying it. I haven't posted much discussion here, but a friend and I have been talking about every episode. My only thing is I enjoyed much of the mystery of the first episodes, and this episode seemed to clear some things up. Of course then they threw us back in the asylum, but I'm guessing that's the illusion and the other stuff was real. If not, I think that's too many layers.

This is currently my favorite show on television.
I wonder when Professor X is going to show up. Will we get a cameo in the season finale?
