At least they know it will be the final season and have a whole season to wrap up the story in.

I did like the idea of the slugs and smoke effect, that was a pretty good story for one episode.

Germ warfare would be simpler than everything that's been thrown at the humans.

This is certainly the dumbest species to ever master interstellar travel. It's why a premise like Falling Skies does not hold up upon a moment's inspection.

So when the good aliens showed up why didn't half alien girl turn the ship around and tell the good aliens to blow up the power station with their guns?

A show about the Warhammer 40k kind of Librarian would be better.

So what was the alien in the last shot? Pre-skitterized Skitter?

the whole last season should just be Mason in space. i don't need to see anyone else on earth anymore.

Watched the last 6 episodes last night. Holy shit. That was an ordeal to get through. Some really hokey stuff.

So is Lexi dead? I got that impression from the finale after the ship she was in crashed.

They left things open for Mira Sorvino's character to possibly return since she came back to save Pope's bitchy ass. I at how he bitched to Weaver that he was ready to die because he had no one.

Season 4 was by far Falling Skies worst season. David Eick is overrated as a science fiction writer and producer.

I don't think Lexi comes back, at least that actress playing her. They'll "evolve" her or something, and bring someone else in.

If you think this season was poor, wait until you see the writing and acting on a show everyone knows is ending next year. Noah Wyle's 9-year-old daughter will likely get called upon to write a script or two.

Lexi looked much better with her platinum blonde hair. And we get a final appearance of hot, crazy Lourdes.

I hope the last season ends with the Earth being blown up while Mason is sent to look for the Espheni homeworld.

Just watched this season thanks to a free trial of Amazon Prime. What a sad mess... Hated what they did to Lexi (aging her, the blond wig, the supernatural powers, giving her a cult following). Hated that Lourdes drank Lexi's Kool-Aid and played the fool all season. Then they killed her! The best looking chick on the show! Hated the Nazi-like school. That thing Jeanie became looked stupid. I hated that Tom was their leader but constantly put himself in harm's way by playing foot soldier and volunteering for one dangerous mission after another. Hell, the new character this season with the island accent (whom I could never understand when he spoke) said he had several hours of flying experience, but that still wasn't a good enough reason for Tom to let him go to the moon instead of Tom. The final hour brought us the worst of the worst: slugs from space in sticky fog. Really? Is this a B horror film from the 1950's? If I'm curious to see how they wrap things up on this show, I'll wait until I can do another free Amazon Prime trial before I'll watch Season 5.

Season 4 is up on Prime now? I binged the first three seasons that way and actually liked them. Tried to watch Season 4 as it aired and ... Uggghhh. I think I finally quit with three episodes to go. I may go round them out if I get really bored ...

Yes, it's now on Prime even before the BD release.

For the record, I hated season 4. But, this summer is the final season, so might as well finish it.

^pretty much my view. Except that I've probably hated most of it, but kept hoping it would get better.

Have to see how it ends, though.
