This is being filmed in Guthrie, OK which is about 45 minutes from where I live. My boss got a call today from the production, they were calling local businesses to see if they wanted to participate in a street-festival type scene. My boss asked me if I wanted to go for my store and I jumped at the chance. So this Sunday morning I will be heading up to Guthrie to set up a booth for Guestroom Records. I'm pretty excited about it. I know that I will just be standing around all day but I couldn't pass up the chance to be a part of a movie.
And hey, maybe I'll get to meet William H. Macy.
A grieving father in a downward spiral stumbles across a box of his recently deceased son's demo tapes and lyrics. Shocked by the discovery of this unknown talent, he forms a band in the hope of finding some catharsis.

Just saw this today. Really enjoyed it. Didn't see that twist coming. Selena Gomez had just a few short horribly acted scenes.

I've been making my way through some of Yelchin's filmography that I haven't seen. This was on TV so I DVR'ed it.
Wow. This was really good. Surprisingly good. I thought the music in it wasn't bad either. Yelchin did his own singing.
