Some of them I think are great, some not so much. The problem is that in some cases, they just don't fit the style. Good examples would be Fallout 3, Minecraft, and The Sims 3, because they are hand-drawn in a retro style. Others, however, are too cartoony or even just use the CG models from the games. SSX 3 in particular looks way off. Also, no offense to anime lovers, but it doesn't fit either (Soul Calibur 3, Kingdom Hearts 3).
