Assume that all of these are available to all customers unless specifically listed as member only like the Welcome Package. Also remember that any preliminary codes are just that and BN could pull it, change the details or exclusions anything prior to release so always a bit of YMMV until the final release date

Mini FAQ
Coupons should not work for PREORDERS , Nook, Legos, Rosetta Stone, Digital, Gift Cards, Memberships, etc. There are glitches where sometimes an excluded item will be allowed but assume that is the exception to the rule

Max 3 GC on a single online order.
Online only a single code can be applied to an order

Online ordered items can returned to a local store unless it's classified as a web-only item then it's at the store's discretion to accept

No, Full Tilt Boogie isn't on the single release. But the encoding is where it makes a difference. The single release is a 25GB disc and the 4 film release w/ Full Tilt Boogie is also on a single disc, but at least it's a 50GB disc.

Someone on Blu-ray.com compared the single disc to the multi features (both the double feature and quad feature appear to have the same encode for the first movie) and it was 19GB on the single disc and 14GB on the multis.

re: Amazon discounts and deals on Blu-ray

I bought the Canadian release of FDTD for 10 bucks at Meijer a few weeks ago. They had a whole display of Canadian Blu-rays and I'm still not sure why. I just heard that the transfer was better on the Canadian release, and I figured I'd never have such easy access to it again.

FYI, there's 2 Canadian releases, the original and the steelbook, each with different transfers. The steelbook is considered the better of the two, as the original is more washed out.

From what I read, the original release is more true to the original theatrical color palate.

Let's pretend I don't know anything beyond "Blu-ray is better than DVD" and tell me what you're talking about, please.

"and it was 19GB on the single disc and 14GB on the multis."

That means the movie uses 19GB on the single but only 14GB on the disc with other films. A larger file size typically results in better quality as it's probably the result of a better scan or less compression.

Both the Man with No Name trilogy and Mag7 set are $18.99. I have the original Mag7 and may watch the sequels someday but don't need to own them. I've been tempted by the MWNN in the past but not super excited about it.

Several others have dropped in price since your post, but IP Man was the only one I wanted. Figures.

I've always been reluctant about the Eastwood trilogy because I've heard terrible things about the "The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly" transfer.
