Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Synopsis:

Spoiler:
Kevin (guest star Osric Chau) talks Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) into checking in on his mother (guest star Lauren Tom). When they arrive, they see that Crowley (guest star Mark Sheppard) has surrounded her with demons so they rescue her and take her along on their quest to find the tablet. However, they soon discover Kevin wasn't kidding when he said his mother was a strong-willed woman after she tries to take on Crowley. John Showalter directed the episode written by Andrew Dabb & Daniel Loflin (#803).

First episode was a good start (not epic like a lot of people have been saying) .....thankfully. Best part about this show is that each new episode is available on Vudu the very next day.

I'm hoping Mjölnir wasn't just a one-off joke and that it comes into play later in the season. I can't imagine Sam and Dean just leaving something as powerful as that behind. I'd be great if the next time the brothers open the Impala's trunk it's lying there among their other weapons. Perhaps Ben Edlund could write an episode in which Thor (special guest star Vincent D'Onofrio), who has let himself go after losing his prized hammer, attempts to get it back.

The hammer was about the only entertaining thing about this episode. I'm close to dropping this show. I don't even get to watch it in HD.

I don't like the fact that their straying from the mythos that was established in earlier seasons. I remember when the Angels first were introduced they had all the Demons running scared. Now, with the word of God tablet an Angel has to actually bid. I understand that the person setting up the auction had warded the proceedings but seriously? I think I'm out after this. The show is just not entertaining like it once was.

I thought this was way better than the premiere. I liked the auction premise and it's nice to see Crowley as a proper villain.

Remember, Heaven is still in disarray after Cas killed so many of the angels. Plus, I still think God is supposed to be MIA, so not sure who is supposed to be running the show up there.

+1
I'm not sure I really buy Dean's new demon friend as a normal guy on Earth. Crowley is the only decent villain the show has left and this episode would not have been out of place in one of its better seasons. The prophet's mom was actually a more entertaining character than the prophet himself, which doesn't bode well if the season-long arc starts going bad.

I kind of gave up on this show's season long arcs, but I still get a kick out of this show. I'll stick with it...

I found the episode to be a bit boring.

The kid and the Mom drove me crazy the whole episode.

Well I enjoyed the mom and kid. I thought they both gave good performances. I liked how they talked a little about killing demons vs banishing the demon from the host. I think they become a little to carefree about killing people possessed by demons.

The hammer was the best part of show. Pretty sure it was just a one time joke.

Re: Supernatural -- "What's Up, Tiger Mommy?" -- 10/10/12

I liked this one better than the premier as well.

I think they need to kill some of the humor....just a little at least. I do like it but sometimes its just too much and feels out of place.

So far so good but I think I said the same last season and by the fourth episode I was getting tired of watching......doesn't matter, this show could be the worst ever and my dumbass would still watch.
