New Year's Eve (D: Garry Marshall, 2011) - Swank, Heigl, Kutcher, cast of thousands)
The lives of several couples and singles in New York intertwine over the course of New Year's Eve.
Hope this hasn't been threaded already, but this is very much another Valentine's Day, with multiple story threads and an insane cast list. Just saw it and enjoyed it. It had some obvious

I only go to see all-star comedies when they have scenes like this:

Valentine's Day was excruciating for me but my girlfriend really liked it so I'll most likely have to sit through this one too.

When I first saw the trailer, I was kinda interested. Then Lea Michele came on. Barf. Pass.

It's crap like this that makes me happy I'm single. No one is worth enduring this kind of torture. I could barely make it through the trailer when I saw it before another movie, I doubt I'd survive the actual feature.
That one I liked. But it didn't quite feel like the rom-com it really was (which is porbably why it was so enjoyable). Plus, it's got Bill Nighy.

Come to think of it, most of Garry Marshall's movies suck.

This one looks lame and not really all-star, at least not to me. Love, Actually was fantastic and I have a guilty pleasure for He's Not That Into You but other than that ... pretty meh.

Love Actually works because Richard Curtis actually has talent. For Christ's sake, the man co-created two of the best and well known British sitcoms of all time.
I've just come to the assumption that Garry Marshall sucked the right dicks in Hollywood for his career to last forty plus years.
Speaking of dicks, I'd rather get cock-punched by my wife for 120 minutes than sit through this shit.

I've never heard of Gerry Marshall till today. He's a "Yes Man" type I'm assuming?

Whenever I see a letterboxed movie trailer on TV with the movie's name and release date in the black bars, it looks terrible. This is no different.
