This show has been good about using flashbacks to fill in little details on the characters. Since this is the mid-season finale, hopefully they use that technique to finally explain the origin of Glenn's pen.

From what I read this episode sounds great. I'm looking forward to this as much as I was the season opener.

So how is this doing in the ratings? Im digging it so far and I just started the other night, I have to see the last 3 eps, counting finale.

Also is everyone liking Talking Dead? I will see the one for the finale but from the bits IVe caught it seems cool. I wonder if it ll be on the season set.

The ratings are great. I've been enjoying The Talking Dead, especially last week's with Kevin Smith.

Norman Reedus will be a guest tonight.

It was renewed for a 3rd season. And it will probably be renewed for a 4th, 5th, 6th etc.

Best sequence of the series, imo.

If THAT doesn't shut up the bitchers and moaners, they seriously need to stick to dance shows. Holy shit!

I told my wife half way through the shooting: "betcha I know who walks out last." And I was right. cool episode. Not sure of Dales motivation of hiding the guns... Maybe to help convince Herschel of the groups compliance?

You mean that we finally saw Zombies? Yeah, finally.

Pretty meh overall. Why didn't the old man just tell them he had a little girl in the barn after they found out?

The actor who plays Shane was balls to the wall in the last scene. Trying to convince Hershel that the walkers weren't alive anymore by shooting them and explaining anatomy...greatness. Knowing the end, I have loved just about everything they have given us this season.

Shane is the only one thinking right at the moment. Oh you saw this guy at a store once? Great! I'll be damned if I am going walk it home on a stick because you are too stupid, sentimental or in denial to see the truth. Could Rick hold his gun any worse?

Re: The Walking Dead -- Midseason Finale -- "Pretty Much Dead Already" -- 11/27/11

I'm so glad I didn't click any spoilers in last week's thread. In fact, I stopped reading the whole thread when they started popping up in case I got tempted.

I must be getting stupid though, because it took me almost up until the final reveal of who the last barn walker was to guess who it was.

Who's guesting on Talking Dead tonight? I would appreciate Kevin Smith a lot more if he didn't wear that hideous orange and blue tent in every appearance he makes.

Re: The Walking Dead -- Midseason Finale -- "Pretty Much Dead Already" -- 11/27/11

The actor playing Daryl is the guest I think.

I hate the whole group. There sure was a lot of TALKING about going to find Sophia but not actually a lot of looking. I am glad that storyline is done and finished. The group is so entitled. Save my son. Give us use of your land. Let us stay on your land. douches. Just leave and find another barn i.e. the one Darryl found and go set up your own Hershel farm with YOUR OWN RULES. Yes, they could use force and kick out the Hershels but at least have the guts to do that.

Ending was great, as everyone else has proclaimed. I'd side with Shane. No compassion, no mercy...do what you need to do to survive.

I didn't see Shane letting the walkers out ahead of time. Very emotional scene between Sophia & her mother and Rick putting her down. Hopefully he's finally grown up. Shane's been a dick, but he's been right. Very excellent episode, when does the season re-start?
