I liked this episode. I liked all the musical numbers, which is something I can't say for most recent episodes. The comedy was a bit weak, mostly coming from Santana's put downs, but those were great. The drama basically built on the ridiculousness that it already was, but other than that it wasn't so bad and despite that they managed some really good moments like Rachael and mom and that final scene with Santana.

There were some bad ones too, which for me was most of the Kurt election/Rachael stuff.

I didn't really care for any of the numbers, but the "Hot for Teacher" cover was horrendous.

I don't think it was horrendous. It wasn't very good, largely because it was a video recreation like the ones from the Britney Spears episode, but I still enjoyed it for what it was.

Loved Finn calling Santana out and putting her in her place. I feel bad for her for possibly being outed on a television commercial though. Kurt came off like a complete sissy in this episode, I really didn't care for him at all. Being a crybaby during the game after the Irish kid got a bloody nose, then whining about bullying and saying he wants to ban dodgeball? WTF? I'd vote for hockey kid just out of spite if I was a student there. I was glad to see Quinn get outed by Puck too, she was turning into a sociopath with the baby plot.

Santana looked hot in the black dodge ball outfit. The mash up at the end with Adele was great and the second song I'll buy from this season. Lots more fun moments than bad ones. The dodge ball sequence was Grease 2 bad but I found myself liking it. It was a goofy episode but what Glee is supposed to be for me, just good over the top fun.

I liked the Adele song and performance but one thing that bugged the shit out of me was the inconsistent lighting combined with the editing. I noticed a couple of times that Santana would be in the shadows and then the they cut to another shot and she's fully lit. Maybe there was some kind of symbolism with her being outed going on, but it just looked like sloppy production work to me.

the ep was ok until the random melt down into anti-bully this and that.. IMO the show works better when they just stick to being campy and ease up the "message of the week" crap.. I get the show runners want to push their agendas but they can't really think that the kids who do the bully this and that are watching a show like Glee going "Yaa know maybe I should not....."

oh well, more fun and campy-ness then message this week so I'm ok with that..

I got to see Idina Menzel in a tight skirt and stockings, so I'm good with that particular number. And as my wife pointed out, Finn's dual bass drums was a nice touch.

I had zero sympathy for Santana in this. She was being a total bitch (more than usual) and Finn just ripped her back. She needs to be knocked down a peg or two. And the slap was a nice way to end it, but think what the reaction would have been if he had slapped her in the hallway instead. Violence is never the answer and I hope that is addressed.

They need to "rehabilitate" her and Quinn a bit, as they are both reverting to the early episodes where they were simply bitchy cheerleaders.

I thought episode was ok overall. I hated the Hot for Teacher number and I think the Puck/Shelby storyline is the worst current storyline on the show.

Hot for Teach was just too obvious and too tame. Might have been cooler if he had sang it right after their kiss or whatever they did that night. The slap at the end was uncomfortable. Santana should get called on it but won't. Quinn is out of control and the preview for the next ep made me cringe. Show's getting a little too dark.

While this episode has been my favorite of this season, that's not saying a whole lot. My Dirty Old Man-ness used to help me forgive the show for a lot, but it's getting harder and harder to watch.

Venom's "Teacher's Pet" would've been a better number. "Hot For Teacher" is lame sauce.

jeesh, I must have missed an episode, when was Roy introduced??

I thought the whole episode was a bit mean. I might be wrong on this but aren't women's right to their original born child pretty much given up when they sign adoption papers?

Liked the music, disliked the nastiness. The Santana venom seemed pretty out of the blue.
