Errol Morris's "Tabloid"
Good review of this movie by Jason Bailey.
Only one point to be made here, really. Considering Morris's earlier documentaries were quirky, smaller in scope (like Vernon, Florida or Gates of Heaven), I wouldn't call his latest not a lesser effort but more like getting back to his "roots". Scaling down from bigger subject matter is not a bad thing; Ken Burns has done shorter documentaries equally as compelling as his longer ones. If this is Morris's way of recharging his batteries before tackling other complicated subjects, I'm glad for it.
Seems like another winner from Morris worth checking out!
