Out of curiosity, what movie has the longest ending credit sequence?
From the first end credit, to the final one.
If i had to take a guess it would be Kill Bill vol 2, as that one is at least 15 min as the movie is barely 2 hours without any.

The FELLOWSHIP OF THE RING: EXTENDED EDITION. Not only were the credits of an epic length, the EE adds the name of everyone who joined the official fan club prior to a certain date.
Kevin Smith pulled a similar stunt with CLERKS 2, but most theaters just cut that portion of the credits off the reel, since they came after the proper credits.

I thought it was Return of the King: Extended Edition that did the fan club credits but I might be wrong...

Kill Bill Vol.2 had like 3 seperate sets of ending credits. I remember Matrix Reloaded end credits were long, something like 12 minutes.

Don't forget Heaven's Gate. The closing credits were eight minutes, which I believe was a record at the time.

According to Wiki
Longest length closing credits
This title goes to Aliens Verses Predator at 12 minutes long but is never mentioned anywhere. A google shows up newground saying Lord of the rings, several sites mentioning guesses. I don't know what would count I guess I could upload a film of the credits to youtube? Can someone message me? I don't use wiki that much to edit. But I only ever make serious edits when something is so blindingly wrong. User:ThaMadBadgerUser talk: ThaMadBadger 13:48, 2nd March 2010 (GMT)
Watching the DVD extended LotR now, the end credits are 26 mins for "fellowship". —Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.7.127.253 (talk) 00:12, 14 January 2011 (UTC)

I'm pretty sure the original Around The World in 80 Days held the title for a while.

I remember the "Superman: The movie" credits - both opening and closing - seemed ENDLESSSSSS when I was a kid.

Weren't the end credits of LOVELY BONES something like 15 minutes?
I believe it's a mystery since no one could make it through the movie.

I don't know what the longest is, but a few years ago there was a picture that compared the entire length of the end credits of Return of the King to another big movie 20 years older, and RotK was like 2 or 3 times longer...I can't find the picture though.

I know I was wowed by Superman's opening credits. I thought they were cool, especially at the time. I also always loved the opening credits to the Bond movies.

I remember the first time I saw the credits for The Abyss. Seemed like they went on forever.

Generally speaking fanboys are pessimistic and negative but I remember there was an odd amount of the "I don't care how bad it is as long as it has Aliens and Predators fightin' in it" mentality before that movie came out. There's stuff like "Spider-Man 3" and the "Star Wars" prequels that are unfairly bashed by fanboys but "AvP" somehow managed to turn the traditional end-credits sequence into something spectacularly bad.
As far as I'm concerned "AvP" rivals "Batman & Robin" as the worst and most-insulting fanboy-property movie of all time yet it's almost been forgotten.
