I notice that when I play Stereo and ProLogic audio through my reciever, it doesn't send the really low bass to my sub. For instance if I were to play my Twister DVD as pro logic, the bass doesn't come anywhere near the bass when payed as DD. Is there any way to get more bass out of non-digital audio streams?

Yep, got it as high as I can, but the low cuttoff frequency seems to be a little high.

I thought I replied to this! Oh well...
For about 10 years, we had a really nice Pro-Logic setup, and for about 6, a nice subwoofer (same one I have now). We never got really deep bass out of the Pro-Logic receiver on anything. VHS, TV, music, or VHS. But, when we got the Sony DD/DTS, and hooked it all up and played a 5.1 movie, I was blown away by the bass. I have noticed that 5.0/1 movies have way more bass than their Pro-Logic counterparts. Even on the new receiver, not much deep bass.
DO you get any bass at all? Or do you get bass, just not the house-shaking LFE that we all like so much? Because if you are looking for the latter, I don't think you will get much of that with Pro-Logic.
Hope that helps
