Long topic title but it’s a disparate bunch of titles and wanted to make sure I caught the attention of either one of the two people who post in here! Basically the question is are these worth buying or am I as well off with the copies I have on VHS from off-air transmissions?
Any help gratefully appreciated

The only one I have seen is The Black Adder DVD. I don't think there has been any remastering done on the picture, but this is 'broadcast' quality (albeit 1983's broadcast comedy - it has the slight 'mistiness' of TV programmes of that time)
Don't expect brillian picture quality, but it will probably be slightly better than the VHS tapes you have. Whether thats enough to make you part with £16 is up to you.
Personally, I'm waiting for series II, III, and IV.

I have a Matter of Life and Death on DVD and I think it is bloody marvellous. The only complaint I have is that they dual layered the disc and put a layer change on a 100 minute movie...and as I am SO picky about layer changes it really annoys me.
