Loved this episode! Especially Barney singing along with Wayne Brady and Ben Vereen!

I think the Barney's father plot is stupid, unbelievable, and completely over the top. However, I did get a chuckle out of him singing with Brady & Vereen.

Barney seems like a smart guy. I can buy him as a child believing his mother's lies and that belief carrying through to adulthood.
But Barney thinking that he was black was just too unbelievable, even for this show.

He didn't think he was black - he specifically admitted that he knew better, he just thought he wanted the experience.

I liked Barney's storyline, even though it stretched credibility a little bit that Barney would believe EVERYTHING his mother said. But I loved the little bits like "Dad look how fast I can run" and the autotune. Robin and Ted's storyline was just dumb. Not as strong as last week, but still entertaining.

Barney being the only real funny part is nothing new and why I've always considered this a mediocre show that I keep watching because I like the actors involved a lot (other than the guy who plays Ted).
Last week's episode seems like a one off rather than a trend to be a truly well balanced funny show again.

Bit slow in seeing this one but had to comment on it. NPH always brings the funny for me but this one he brought something even more.
