Possible Disney Live action films, 2011 bluray releases.
This is only a speculation, but this little blurb I found over at in70mm.com states this:
... and Disney's work on its live action films "TRON", "SWISS FAMILY ROBINSON", "TREASURE ISLAND", and "20,000 LEAGUES UNDER THE SEA", scanned at 6 and 4K and worked on at 4K with only the last getting a film-out "letterboxed" at 2.55 with some correction of the anamorphic mumps in its closeups.
now I know that 'Tron' is rumoured to be released just around the time of 'Tron Legacy's' release in the theaters, but the mention of the other three seem like possible (and hopefully) 2011 releases.
Another possible and long rumoured 2011 release is 'Mary Poppins' which varying online blurbs state Disney never considered releasing the film in it's current state (the print elements used for the 45th Anniversary DVD release were inferior to the standards of what Disney Home Video execs/telecinests had hoped to use for a bluray release). A full on major restoration was and is supposedly in the pipeline.

That's why they've been delaying the hell out of that 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea DVD re-release, I'm sure.

Wow! That more catalog release then they have had in all 2010! Aside from TRON, they will all sell like crap. Swiss Family Robinson? Yaaaaaawn.

I think I might actually get all four of those. 20000 Leagues and Treasure Island definitely, Swiss Family Robinson and Tron quite possibly. Great movies, all of them.

I hope when they release Swiss Family Robinson, they'll put the 1940 version of Swiss Family Robinson on it as well. According to IMDB, Disney bought out the RKO 1940 version so no one would compare the two.
From IMDB:
In the 1960s Walt Disney remade "Swiss Family Robinson", The Disney Studios bought up the rights to the 1940 version produced and distributed by RKO, then Walt Disney confiscated all known prints of RKO Radio Pictures version so there wouldn't be comparisons to the Disney remake.

In for 20,000 Leagues (and hopefully Disney won't cheap out on the extras like Fantasia)

It's odd, but I just read yesterday that "SFR" is the 81st biggest film of all-time at the box-office (adjusted). I was like, "Huh, really!??". I only saw the movie once as a kid and it didn't do much for me.

To me the only good thing about 2012's Black Hole remake is that we will be getting the classic original film on Bluray as a tie in.
The original is one of my all time favorite movies, and played a big role in me wanting to work in the movie industry

Wow, "The Black Hole" aged badly FAST! I loved the story. But the special effects were just so bad. Even for it's time. I can't wait for the remake.

I'd personally love to get Marry Poppins and Who Framed Roger Rabbit?? on Blu-Ray. I hope those end up getting worked on soon...

They may not be the classics that some of the other titles already mentioned are, but the only live-action Disney's I'm interested in are the ones I grew up with in the 70's- Escape From Witch Mountain and The North Avenue Irregulars- neither of which I expect are a high priority at the studio.
Good to know there is a remake of Black Hole on the way so I can adjust my anticipation for a release of that, accordingly.
Far and away though, my #1 WD live action property is The Rocketeer. I doubt the fact that next year is the 20th anniversary already since the film has never been accorded any kind of prestige release by the studio before. At this point though, even a bare bones BD would be a major step up over everything else that has come before, it would still be massively appreciated. As it is now, there isn't one edition of this movie available on any medium that I consider watchable on a large screen display, let alone a front projector.
