Decent stuff here; Adventures of Superman, Dukes of Hazzard, Dallas etc. Plus other Warner bargains:

Took Veronica Mars S1, F Troop S1, Adventures Of Superman S2, all for 11.98 ea, and had no trouble finding other Oldies goodness to get to free shipping at 75.00!
I've been lurking over my shopping cart for a while waiting for them to offer a coupon or something but the TV stuff is too good to wait on. I've seen too many things disappear from my cart while I've lurked.
BTW, they've added a checkbox to add shipping insurance for 1.00. For me, it's a little payola to get my mail carrier to pay attention to the box and leave it at the right door. It's worth it.

Just received a catalogue from them - with any purchase, enter the code SPIDEY and you'll get a Spider-Man Origins of a Superhero bonus DVD which contains the documentary "Symbiote Spider-Man: The Saga of the Balck Costume", the featurette "Making Comics the Marvel Way" and Hasbro's "The Origins of Spider-Man Origins Toys", along with The Amazing Spider-Man #300 28-page comic book.

May be crap, but hey, it's a freebie.

Oh, thanks for posting this. I'd been wanting to pick up Veronica Mars and at this price I'd be crazy not to. I almost bit on the Dukes of Hazzard as well before I came to my senses. Also thanks for that code, marty, free stuff is always welcome!

I had held off on these $11.98 tv shows, but this post may have convinced me to put together an order. I've had interest in some of these game show sets but never at the price I've seen them at in stores/online. Thanks for the post, crackerbox!

Should I place an order, I will definitely put in for the free Spiderman DVD. Thanks!

I never heard of/ordered from this store before. How reliable are they in getting orders out in a timely manner? What is their customer service like if you have a problem? (I find it important to have the ability to get a hold of a actual human being on a toll free phone line without 20 minutes navigating through a menu and knowing that they are willing to pay for shipping if an item needs to be returned for a reason that's not my fault.)

I've had a few orders with no problems. Like any store, you'll find stories of people raving about their horribleness. Lots of threads about them here.

There's always going to be a degree of horribleness with any store, online or brick and mortar. But have you had to deal with them for any exchanges/returns? That's my primary concern. Especially if I end up placing an order for a bunch of cheap DVDs and order $75 worth, that increases my chances of getting a damaged disc or something I need to return!

Nope. Definitely would have given you that if I had firsthand experience.

If I recall from earlier threads, some raved about great customer service, and some had one bad experience and called them the anti-Christ of companies.

Thanks, OP. I've been looking around for a good price on the Tales from the Crypt sets (even though just season five is listed).

Check Amazon.com marketplace for similar, if not cheaper, deals if you're not spending enough at Oldies for free shipping. I've noticed that when items are on clearance there, they can be found on Amazon.com marketplace for a few bucks less. For instance... Tales from the Crypt $12.99 on Oldies before S&H, received it from Amazon marketplace for $12.39 shipped.

I had an experience where they billed and shipped an item that was supposedly cancelled a month earlier. They did not provide a pre-paid label and I had to pay to send the DVD back to them before they would agree to credit my card for the erroneous transaction (which they admitted was their fault). However, they did re-imburse my shipping charges in the end.

I am about to do this right now, but with an item that they sent because the one I wanted is out of stock.

You are correct, sir! Thanks for that. The War at Home S1 and TFTC are both cheaper there, even after shipping (I'm thinking you had to pay tax, since mine is cheaper than what you stated above).
Adventures of Superman can be had for cheaper from amazon themselves, if you need all of them. They have S1-6 together for 63.99. Some individual seasons are cheaper as well...
