There was a point up until the end of the Vong series where I had read every EU book there was, including the young reader ones

. I checked out the Star Wars shelf at Borders yesterday and didn't recognize a single one of them. There were probably 50 new books I haven't checked out.

The cover for this one is pretty intriguing though.

I started with the EU bboks in late 2007 then went crazy in spring 2008 and went thru 25 EU books (Zahn, some of NJO, Lotf, etc). More recently, had been reading the older stuff from Anderson. I like it, but I am getting burned out so am taking it slow now.

I remember reading about this a while back, but don't think it had a title then. 'scary' is good.
