Ubisoft announces 3 new titles/sequels
I just saw on G4 that Ubisoft is releasing 3 new games in their upcoming fiscal year:
Assassin's Creed
Splinter Cell
Ghost Recon
Didn't see any info online yet, but I'm all over Assassin's Creed 2 when it hits.

I'm mildly interested in those three. Moreso toward Splinter Cell as I'm interested in the change of direction. Assassin's Creed was just okay so there's lots of room for improvement with a sequel. I can't really think what, if anything, new a sequel could bring to the Ghost Recon table.

Given the plot of Assassin's Creed, it would be interesting to see a sequel set somewhere other than the Crusades-era Holy Land. Not necessarily set in the time of Desmond, just at some other point in the history of the Assassin's Guild.
Wikipedia says the sequel is due out by March 2010, so I assume Ubi's fiscal year runs March to March.

Assassin's Creed was pretty much a given and they've had Spinter Cell in the works for years now. The only real surprise there is Ghost Recon.
Also fiscal year is through March as JasonF pointed out.

Can't wait for the next Splinter Cell. Completed all four of the Splinter Cell games for the xbox and loved every minute of them.

Re: Ubisoft announces 3 new titles/sequels
Haven't really tried much more of ghost recon AW than the demo. Couldn't get into it or any of the GR games after the very first one (Georgia setting seems even more realistic now).
I liked the NK setting for GR2 on the original xbox, but it just didn't play as smooth as the first one. I'm not sure what it was exactly. Starting to focus on the ultra-futuristic technology (not to mention the single soldier levels), etc just wasn't as fun as having a 4 (or was it 6) man squad - split into 2 teams - using current weaponry and tech.
