The Heartbreak Kid [2007] - some DVDs edited?

Does anyone know why the following was edited out of the end credits from some DVDs?

Spoiler:
It's 1974 at Eddie's Summer camp. 8 Year old Eddie says goodnight to his bunkmate, who then, making sure Eddie's asleep, pulls out a mirror full of blow and begins snorting it and rubbing his teeth...leading to his deviated septum.

Just curious...

I believe this was edited out from all DVDs (non-R1 as well) and HD-DVD. No idea why.

IS this for real?
I missed this in theaters ( I walked out when the credits started to roll, I didnt know there was any thing during the credits...) but have been wanting to see this since it soulnds like one of the funniest things in the film. I was pick this up sooner or later but now I might have to pass since this pisses me off they edited this out.

I missed it too. We were walking out when the first scene started to play so we caught that one but missed the second

What is it with Ben Stiller movies and editing gags from the closing credits for their home video versions?

Sorry for being a bit off topic but I don't know much about cocaine. Why would he rub his teeth? Do you get so high that you just do weird stuff like that?

He wasn't rubbing it on his teeth, he was rubbing it on his gums, where it would be absorbed. This is generally done with the small amount of cocaine left after snorting it.

Flirting With Disaster was missing end credits stuff on the dvd release.

The VHS and laserdisc versions (but not the DVD release) feature additional scenes during the end credits, not included in the original theatrical cut, showing the whereabouts of Tina and Tony and Paul

They did warn people on the back of the case that the movie was edited for content. I guess that since it was an R-rated movie no one (including myself) would have guessed that they would edit out something like this.
