4 gig Sandisk Memory Stick Duo $20+tax at Circuit City BIG YMMV

Crossposted with Hot Deals forums but I think it's a hot enough deal to warrant it

Use this link:
http://www.circuitcity.com/ccd/Searc...7&mid=FW62hglv

It'll ring up at $57.99 but when they check you out at the store it will refund your card $37.99 (double check to make sure).

Ask if you can use the 10% off in the order confirmation email. Worked for me and I got it for $18+tax.

I guess it isn't as big a YMMV as it might be hard to find it in stock. It's translucent red.

Worth a shot. I just ordered one. See what happens when I pick it up.

Edit: Deal confirmed for me as well. They even did the coupon thing.
Thanks a lot for posting this deal.

Not that I don't trust your deal GaterDeb, but assuming they don't refund the $37 do I have the option to cancel the order outright when I pick it up?

Of course you can

So I ordered another one and when I got there they told me they were out of stock (the order went through). So I "special ordered" five and asked her if she had the one-use $15 off $100 coupon and she said yes, so I got 5 for $100-15+tax = $91.59. And the best part is that I don't rob anyone of the deal because they can special order whatever amount you want

Wow I thought this would get more of a response Where can you get a 4 gig Sandisk mem stick pro duo for $20+tax or lower?

You know what's funny is that one store had 14 "in stock" and when they got called all of a sudden they had none. I guess they have happy employees now.

BTW CC customer service is nothing short of outstanding. I was so please with 2 of them that I'm writing compliment letters and mailing them in.

BTW credit goes to horizontally-challenged wallet. Deal still going on.

Thanks for posting this. I have 1 4-gig and don't feel the need for another at the moment, but my brother-in-law just picked up a PSP and I passed the info on to him.

I placed my order and I'll be picking it up in a few hours.

Out of curiosity, Deb, why do you need 5 of them?

To use the $15 off $100 coupon I have more than the PSP, I have the digicam, the PDA, the PS3, the PSP, and within the next year the Sony Reader, so now I can just leave a stick in each.

just got back from the Valley Forge, PA CC and got this deal. note that it took a half hour of confusion so it may not be worth it. i ordered it online, got an automatic price adjustment at the pickup and a 10% coupon off. i believe it's only the red translucent for PSP ones only.

about $18+tax.

Yep last line of first post, translucent red

It all depends on the employees, I guess. It's funny the sounds that come out of them when the $37 comes off

Deb. let me know if you want me to take one off your hands for you for $20 or so. I could certanly use one (but five is a little more than I need).

Decker you don't -need- to order five, go to the Sahara one and ask them if they can special order one for you and pay for it, then wait for the call when they come in. Can you believe the Maryland one had 14 in stock and surprise surprise you get there and none in stock? I want to keep mine

Ah, okay, I missed the bit about the coupon. That makes sense. Thanks for posting the deal.

Just came back from the Cedar Park, Texas store and they had about 30 of them marked down from $99 to $20.

Picked up my online order and an extra one for less than $40.

Thanks again Deb.

Not many people here have PSPs or use them that much. That's my guess.

They didn't mention any discount when I picked up my order, and I didn't feel like trying to explain it since it's not mentioned in any ad or on their website. I'll wait until it posts on my credit card, and if it's $60 instead of $20, I'll just return it.

Not many people have Sony products. Stupid proprietary formats. I have a PSP with a 4gb card but I rarely use it.

I was tempted to get a few more as well. I have a 4GB CF card I use with my PS3 or I would have got one for that, but I like that I can load the red card up with music on my PSP and save my other 4GB card for movies. Good times

Really awesome deal and thanks again for posting it.

it's not a bad price... definitely not stupid. It works great between Sony products (duh). I got a few of the 4gbs (not from CC deal, i couldn't jump on the deal, it's dead in the water for me). I use them for PSP, PS3 and HD Camcorder (not recorded on the mem card, but for still pics).
