I've been watching, but not as much as Life, which was noted in that article as getting test run in Journeyman's slot following Heroes (YEAH!!)

I'll sign as I've noticed it's picked up lately as well.

I'll sign, but if you ask me that is a very weak source for such lofty news.

It was just the first place that showed up on google news when I searched. I didn't look too hard, so I'm sure there's a more reliable source.

I went from watching every Monday, to DVR'ing it. Now I watch it at work online. Apparently people like me are killing the show. I'll be sure to at least turn on my tv every Monday at ten.

Unless you are a Neilson household, this doesn't matter.

I suggest you call them and tell them you're watching Journeyman everytime it's on

That article makes a couple of weird comments. First it talks about how NBC isn't taking into account the people who DVR the show. If they're fast-forwarding through the commercials, and why wouldn't they, then why does NBC care how many people are recording it? Also it implies NBC is short-sighted because the show could do well on DVD, but the show is produced by Fox Television and not Universal.

Really? I'm the reverse! As the season arc gets revealed more and more (see Livia is from the 40's - HELLO!?!?!), I've been trying to watch it live - well I wait 15 minutes in and start watching to skip commercials.

Too bad if it goes... Especially now that the backstory is starting to get really cool!

Maybe someone should ask a Heroes fan why they are changing the channel or turning off the TV at 10pm? The show has been losing almost 5M of Heroes audience every week.

With a strike on, how could any show get pulled right now? I think they will burn all of the eps in the can.

Hmmm... I believe that would be next week's episode "Blowback".

Putting it up against CSI: Miami wasn't exactly a brilliant idea, since, for some reason, a lot of people like CSI: Miami.

You would think that Journeyman would at least be able to get 2nd in the timeslot, but it can't even compete with a retread show like "The Bachelor." Who the hell still watches that lame ass dating show anyways?

Plus it doesn't help that Journeyman is very serialized and tough to gain new viewers. Maybe it will be able to compete better against "October Road" next week?

What I don't understand is how some serialized shows like Heroes, Lost, and 24 do so well, while others like Alias, Journeyman, and Veronica Mars do so poorly. It's not like there's this big drop-off in quality between them. In fact, I'd put the best of Alias up against any of the others any day of the week, except for maybe Lost.

It's a Catch-22. People are wary of investing time in new serialized shows because the networks keep cancelling them just when they start to catch on. Maybe switching the Life and Journeyman (I like both) timeslots would help.

Exactly why I didn't watch Heroes last year. I thought, "Scifi show on a mainstream network? During the week?! Thanks, I'll pass - I don't want to get become invested in something that will be cancelled after 3 episodes."

"Well, we've been getting 6 million viewers a week, it's just not enough. I'm ready to cancel Journeyman."

"Wait Bob, 500 people signed this online petition saying not to cancel it!"

"The show WILL go on!"

After getting burned with so many other serialized shows either just plain getting cancelled or bad endings after watching for years I didn't invest in Heroes last year and passed on journeyman this year. If it does make it, i'll pickup the dvd. Unlike Heroes though last year I didn't DVR any of Journeyman this year.

This year I kept my shows light. No thinking involved really and each episode is pretty contained. I guess thats why I have enjoyed Big Shots. LOL

I signed it. It is my favorite new show. Sad to hear that it is struggling.
