Does anyone know if the Walt Disney Treasures are considered a boxset?
The new wave is coming out tomorrow and I'd love to pick up one of them.
Thanks!

I'll be picking up the copy of MST3k Vol. 10 that my store still has around. With the personal shopping day I have, it'll be about 47% off.

No, but for crying out loud!
Membership is FREE, it takes all of 30 seconds to sign up with NO paperwork. The only thing that EVER bothers anyone is that Borders sends emails ~weekly. Except that's where these coupons come from. They don't sell the addresses to anyone. The whole goal of the program is to encourage loyalty, thus we charge NOTHING to you to earn free store credit and get free coupons....I'll never understand this
(if you absolutely insist, you can even sign up without using email! or just make a junk yahoo/hotmail/etc account to have it dump to!)

Oh well. No convincing some I guess

I'm going to grab "Your Host-Walt Disney", even though I already have one of the episodes from "Disneyland USA".

convinced me, but I was just wondering so I could sign up if it was needed to use this one. I've never actually known what it was about, just heard little things here and there. Thanks for the response by the way.

Just sign up when you make a purchase, that's the easiest way to do it. You can do it at any kiosk in the store as well, but at the register is the quickest and simplest way. Cashier should ask if you have one, if not, just say you want one, and they will astonished-ly give you one, heh.

I didn't even pay attention to the date. They must of had 8 cashiers working. The guy didn't even look at the coupon. I probably could have brought anything up there and he would have took 40% off. I'll try for something else tomorrow.

40% off of $50 for Simpsons S9 not only gets you it for 3 bucks less than Best Buy and Circuit City, but you also get to miss out on the ridiculous lines at those establishments. It's too bad that by the time I get out of work and go to Borders they'll be sold out of it (even though their inventory system will say they aren't)

This may have been asked in a previous post about Borders, so my apologies in advance. Nevertheless, can you combine this coupon with the 10% off personal shopping day? I want to get Season 6 of "ER" and would love to save as much as possible.

Why not call the store and ask them to hold it
for you? They hold stuff for 3 days. I have 2
sets on hold. One for each day.

You can also use bordersstores.com to request that an item be held for up to 3 days, although I haven't tried using it on the release date of an item.

What's the deal with this 10% personal shopping day? I've never heard of it.

According to the email I received from Borders, I spent $50 in December (using my Borders Rewards card), so I get 10% off for any day I choose. Also, if I spend another $50 before January 31, I'll get another.

I must admit that Borders has one of the best rewards programs out there. Far superior to BB's earn $5 for every $250.

Is it my computer or is the borderstores.com a little glitchy today? I have the 3 Puerto Rico stores in my search results and when i do a search for a DVD, it shows me the inventory availability of other places, like Seattle and NY. Am I the only one with the problem?

I don't think that is exactly how it works. If you spend another $50 in December, you will not get another PSD. If you spend $50 between 1/1 and 1/31, you will. I could be wrong but that is my understanding of this.

Let's say I spend $50 today. What will happen is that I will get a Personal Shopping Day to use between tomorrow and January 31st. If I happen to spend $50 by, say January 15th (that is, starting from January 1st), then I will get a PSD on the 16th which will be valid through February 28th. PSD's can only be used once, and if you spend $100 in a month, you do not get an extra one.

Does the King Kong Extended Edition count as a box set or as just a normal DVD item?
