DVD Talk review of 'Obaba (Spanish Release)'
I read Svet Atanasov's DVD review of Obaba (Spanish Release) at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=24161 and...
Svet, I'm glad you enjoyed this as much as I did. Going back to the post in the International forum I might have been the only one that might have ordered it and while I was watching it I thought it would be something you would like as well as some of the other members here. So once again thanks for the great review. It is definately something I would recommend to others.

A great film indeed! Perfectly executed....I have been very impressed by Spanish directors as of late!! And for the price this disc is now available: a must-have!

The director has another film which I thought was great as well called 'Cartas de Alou' but it does not have english subtitles which are a shame as its a very interesting piece especially when one considers the immigration issues faced by Spain and its immigrants coming from North Africa.
