If I do end up getting Marvel Ultimate Alliance, it will be for the Xbox 360. But I'm going to wait for the reviews first.

I played Justice League Alliance at E3, pretty darn bad.

I watched the devs demo Marvel Ultimate Alliance at E3, pretty darn good.

Of course, the JL game is apparently fucked up and I swear it's a conspiracy. There have been almost NO good DC based games.

Anyway, I don't have an XBOX anymore so the JL game is out unless it's backwards compatible and chances are it won't be anytime soon. I like the way the Marvel game looks and it's on the 360 so I'll probably get that one....once the price drops dramatically.

There goes my choice!

I've owned both X-Men Legends games, but got bored with each fairly quickly. I might pass on Alliance if it's more of the same...however, I'll buy it on day one if either Luke Cage, the Black Panther, or the Falcon are playable characters.

That sucks about Justice League Heroes playing bad. I'm still gonna get it. I forgot about Superman Returns:The Video Game. The Grand Theft Auto of Superhero games(hopefully as good or better than Spider-Man 2). Anyone here wanna be a VIP member at Marvel Ultimate Alliance.com? They have a message board and you can win prizes. I only had 1 person to invite, and have 19 invites left.

Both, regardless of reviews. This comic whore always enjoys comic games more than traditional.

justice league looks worse then the superman game. You can tell they really don't give a shit about the game. Marvels Ultimate Alliance looks like xmen legends with more superheroes which is fine with me. Still hoping for them to release that 2d side scrolling avengers arcade game though.

You can keep your Luke Cage, but I couldn't agree more with Falcon and Black Panther. I wish they kept Wolverine out of this game and threw in another obscure character, but maybe there are some unlockables?

Ultimate Alliance all day long. You get to fight Galactus...Galactus! And since I'm stuck in last gen I'll get it for the X-Box.

I'll also get the Justice League game when it's in the clearance bin, even though it looks like poo.

While I'm considering waiting for reviews on Marvel Ultimate Alliance, I'll probably buy it anyway.

All else being equal, JL. I just like them better. However, if it sucks, then no

I liked XMen Legends 1 for the most part, the load times on 2 drove me insane, especially since I didn't think there was a quantum leap in gameplay [the load times on 1 were bad too, but the game was fun so I dealt with it].

Any word on how the online play is and if there is any leveling involved?

Which game? Marvel Alliance has competitive online 4 player co-op, meaning you are working as a team, but competing with each other for kills and points.

At the screening, they briefly showed us the leveling system. I can't remember if it was for single, multi, or both though. I'll have to rummage through my E3 notes.

Any reviews for Justice League Heroes out yet? Ign's previews make it seem like it will be pretty good if not great.

Yeah. I read their hand-on preview. Seems like it's alot like that X-men Legends game. The game sounds cool in theory, but I think it'll be repetitive like Dead Rising is. I already have a preorder down on it at EB and I'll probably get it just b/c I'm a comic book whore.

Wish granted. Cage is in there, gaudy 70s costume and all.

Definitely getting the 360 version of Marvel Ultimate Alliance. Was thinking about Justice League but the "bad" posts in this thread have me second guessing.

I will get Marvel Ultimate Alliance but can't decide on the system. I love the idea of online co-op (not nearly enough of these) but the Wii controls look pretty awesome too.

DC does not have a history of great videogames with their characters. Marvel, on the other hand, has had some great games in recent years with their characters. I really enjoyed X-Men Legends 1 & 2, so I'll probably pick up Ultimate Alliance and wait and see with Justice League.
