Tales from the Crypt Season 5 coming on Halloween
TV Shows on DVD just announced that season 5 of Tales from the Crypt will be released on Halloween, October 31. That will make 5 seasons released in not even one and a half years! And with a total of 7 seasons, I think it's safe to say that we'll have the complete series by next year. Don't you wish all TV series were released in this speed? I think they only thing that wouldn't like that would be our wallets :P

A bit off-topic, but does anyone remember the follow-up HBO series called "PERVERSIONS OF SCIENCE". I think it started the year after TALES ended and was produced by the same people. It was based on EC Comics' "Weird Science" comic-book and had more of a slant towards sci-fi. I think it only lasted one year.
And I believe Fox network aired a couple of pilot episodes for a western show based on an EC Comic that didn't pan out, but I can't remember what that was called.

I love it when they release shows this fast because I generally try to wait until the entire series is released before starting to watch.

As for the western you're talking about, I'm not sure about that, doesn't ring a bell for me.

If I remember correctly, Season 5 was where the show really started to go downhill. I might have to Netflix them first and see if I want to bother collecting past S4. You got to hand it to them for the speedy releases, though.

These are really speedy releases too, with so much TV on DVD coming out, I barely have time to watch them all (I'm still on season two of crypt) so hopefully by the time I get around to 4 & 5 they will be part of a 'Warner Brother's' Sale that come around from time to time...

This is excellent news. I loved this show thoughout, even when it started to go slightly downhill. I remember quite well Perversions of Science and really hope that it is put out on DVD.
