Question about DVD Replacements for Fox
I currently have the first three Simpsons seasons, but am missing Disc 1 of Season 3. I want to know how I can get a new one, by payment or replacement. The Fox website only had replacements for damaged discs, so that's a no go. Is there any other outlet for such a thing? I looked on eBay, but of course, people don't really sell individual discs.

About a year ago, I contacted them regarding a Firefly boxset that I had bought during the release week. ... I had purchased it, but not opened it for a number of months. When I finally did open it, the set contained 2 Disc #2's and no Disc #3.
Essentially, they told me that I would need to follow the replacement policy for defective discs ... a charge of $6.99 PLUS S/H both ways. Which would have been almost $15 - $20 for their error. ... as I had to ship the WHOLE Boxset back to them.
I would think that the Replacement Policy would work for a missing disc (if it indeed came that way), since it is really no different than receiving a duplicate disc, like I did. Worst case is that you email them and they say "no".
Fox's Replacement Policy: "For more information on getting replacements for manufacturing defects such as duplicate Discs in boxsets or scratched Discs, please email [email protected]. This Replacement Program is for DAMAGED DVDs or boxsets that might have been accidentally damaged by the consumer ONLY. If you mail us a replacement request which is considered a manufacturing defect, your request will be mailed back to you."
