Is dvdavenue.tv a legit business?

I stumbled upon the web site dvdavenue.tv and they offer a large selection of tv shows on dvd, I am talking complete series of tv shows, some of which have NEVER been released on dvd. My main interest was The Six Million Dollar Man complete series on dvd for $199.99
Does this company have permission to sell copyrighted tv shows or are they dealing in bootlegs? They have online live help and the lady I spoke with says they are legit and have permission to sell.
Does anyone know anything about dvdavenue.tv?

I know of one person who has bought several dvd sets from the above
Each set purchased has at least one dvd where a episode(s) is of poor quality.
I have been unsuccessfull in obtaining there home office address or a company listing.
Outside the usa there is no way of speaking to a representative only automated telephone machine just what one needs to add to ones frustration ,
The million dollar question that puzzles me after reading threads by unhappy customers is why has no one contacted consumer affairs they have vast powers and are there to help.
Hope the above is of some use.
Cheers.

I don't know why this thread still exist since it is obvious that these people were selling bootlegs.

These so-called "stores" have links that pop up from time to time all across this site. "Ads by Google" is loaded with them and they are generated automatically based on keywords on a page. Just take a look at any recent 'Song of the South' Disney DVD thread.

I had a hunch they were bootlegs so I started comparing disc counts with Amazon and most of the ones I checked (or all, can't remember) were off on the disc count, which means bootlegs.

If you look around the internet, they seem to be an organized crime group who change the name of the company every few months. Customer service mostly doesn't answer the phone. Many people don't get their merchandise after their card is charged. Some people report that their credit card numbers are stolen. DO NOT BUY!

A guy at work bought The Nanny on DVD from DVD Donkey. They were obviously sourced from VHS tapes recorded off the air. It was awful. It even has the announcer saying, "We'll be right back after these messages!"

Their names include:
TVBoxsets.com,
tvdvdplanet.com,
dvdavenue.tv,
tv
addicts.tv
tvmilk.com,
allmyfavoriteshows.com,
tvseries.tv,
dvdcraze.tv
TVDVDmania.tv
ultimatedvdshop.com
And probably others too.

This page shows the different sites with the exact same banner:

Stay away from these crooks.

It's funny, the best TV DVD information site in existence, TV Shows On DVD had a news headline about this since January, and it's on the front page of the site.

I don't get how anyone could fall for an "all my favorite shows" -named site.
