need help with homicide life in the streets season 3(plot,spoilers)
3 of the dectectives were opening up a bar, and they kept having setbacks. One time the sherrif showed up and said they cant sell liquor.
I cant find out how they resolved this, how did they get around this? i watched the season twice and still cant figure it out. Or was that just edited out?

I've only been watching the TV versions, which I believe are slightly edited for syndication [not totally sure] ... I remember that scene, and I remember that he takes their liquor license away and that that is just one of the times they're forced to delay the opening ... but I don't think the show ever wanted to really devote a lot of time to that B-plot ... I think the idea was just to have this overall arc of light comic relief where they're buying a bar and things keep going wrong.
I think it's fair to assume that they somehow scraped together the money to pay off whatever back taxes were owed on the building.
