Wow, haven't seen a Monk thread in a while, even with the last few new episodes some weeks back.

While the timing the astronaut had made for the perfect cover, the fact that he could've been easily seen going into the house twice makes it a bit silly.

Plus, what was there a car battery powering that garage door opener? He rigged it so the button was always pressed down and mailed it 2nd day air and the package sat there 3 days before the guy went and gave it to his daughter yet it still had power to open the garage door on the airforce base???

I liked the episode overall tho... But yeah, the guy would have been seen coming/going from the house, esp with the garage door opener equipment!

It takes like four days to die without water so she just starved for two basically.

I mean how did he keep her alive, but unable to stnad up and walk, without looking like he bound her for 2 days. The idea that he could drug her once and it would last 3 days w/o killing her is a huge stretch.

Its Monk ... bending the rules is part of the show.

Fun episode. One of the better with Natalie.

I caught the episode but like others, its really good until the reveal of how everything happened. I mean evertime they were at the house the neighbors were outside bitching. Youre telling me they never saw this dude visit, hang around to install an opener, return for the crap, etc? They were never outside during one of these 3 days?

The last 2 season this show has really gone down hill with its scenarios and solutions. Its really noticeable when watching S1 again. I really like it when Monk figures something out, that they never show him even build up too.

But bieng a huge RH Men in Tights fan, it was cool to see Little John as the neighbor.

Not only that, but bitching about the garage door being open, with the kid insisting he hadn't opened it. That made "how he done it" painfully obvious.

I hadn't watched this since Sharona left, looks like I haven't missed much...
