During the opening credits did all the original Have Gun Will Travel episodes have Paladin reciting a few lines that will later appear in the episode?

I've noticed about 1/2 of the Season 3 episodes are missing this opening dialog. All of these also seem to be of a lower transfer quality than those that have the dialog.

No idea. I did see the opening lines on all the Season 1 and 2 episodes I have watched. Haven't gotten to Season 3 yet, but I hope it isn't a step down in quality. These have been nice releases of a very old, classic western series.

I think it was fifty-fifty...just like the song during the ending credits. Half the shows had it ("Have Gun Will Travel reads the card of the man..."), while half just had music.
