Supposedly, when the DVD comes out, it'll only be released in the censored version. And then a few months later, the studio will make us double-dip for the unrated and sexually explicit out of control edition which will have the deleted scenes re-inserted and special audio commentary from the extras.

Funny you mention those two movies, as they are my plans for tonight.
I expect empty theaters.

Gee, this sounds like a sound marketing idea to create a cash fountain.

Up until this thread, I had no idea a movie of National Lampoon's Barely Legal even existed. No wonder noone is going to it. I do seem to remmeber a Kids in America ad but maybe twice ever and I can't remember a thing about it.

It looks like another bummer weekend at the box office which is a shame because there is a fair share of quality movies out there. People are just not going to see them. I just saw North Country, and that is an very emotionally charged film that I think people need to see.

WOW. "The Fog" only dropped 37% in its second weekend. That has gotten the worst reviews of the year. I still haven't used my ticket to see it yet. Looks like it'll be playing a few weeks longer.

Then again, I did (finally) see Waiting while at the theater, so I can't say too much for my own taste.

I wonder when the movie ticket sales will pick-up? I don't know if people will be in the mood for Zorro the weekend before Halloween. I wonder if this drought will continue until Harry Potter opens?

Saw it this weekend. Lots of kids in the theater and they all seemed to enjoy it.

I saw "Domino" this weekend (#11) and liked it quite a bit. Saw "Stay" (#13) -- not so much. Probably a good thing I didn't wait until next week (or not).
