Bob Denver of "Gilligan's Island" fame is dead.
Actor Bob Denver of "Gilligan's Island" fame is dead.
Denver, who underwent quadruple heart bypass surgery earlier this year, died at Wake Forest University Baptist Hospital in North Carolina. He was 70.
This is sad news. He will be missed. I wish they would have done more extras with him on the DVD Season sets. I have all 3 and I was wondering why he wasn't more involved. Must have been his health.
