[COLOR=Black]"Iced", Episode #524.
Two amorous freshmen are found dead on a sleeping bag in a dorm room, and Sara and Greg run into one dead end after another as they try to determine why the students were killed.
Cast: William Petersen, Marg Helgenberger, Gary Dourdan, George Eads, Jorja Fox, Paul Guilfoyle, Eric Szmanda, Robert David Hall, David Berman, Wallace Langham, Aisha Tyler, Marc Vann.
Director(s): Richard J. Lewis.
Producer(s): Jerry Bruckheimer, Carol Mendelsohn, Ann Donahue, Anthony Zuiker, William Petersen.
Writer(s): Josh Berman.
Original Airdate: May 12, 2005.
A bit of a break from the recent gloom and intensity- this was actually a lighthearted, even funny episode.

Yet another The Wire alum guesting in a notable show.

Add my praise for the Eckley plot. I like the way they're fstill eaturing all of the characters without cramming them all into each episode. Two or 3 have primary roles in a given episode and while we still see the other CSI's, it's usually only for a min or two.

At least we didn't have to listen to references to the size of his manhood, though.

The only thing about the dry ice is that there would be residue all over the dorm room, dry ice does not evaporate completely when you are dealing with any kind of volume.

I don't know about the CBS promo (stupid canadian networks ALWAYS cut in to the original american broadcasts) but the CTV promo also spoiled one of the major plot lines relating to the episode's title.

Thank you! I knew I recognized him from somehwere. I've been noticing the cast of The Wire showing up everywhere as well, but It didn't click to me that was Ziggy.
