Natalie was really a ball-buster on getting her expenses paid, and it was pretty fun to watch her badger Monk for them.
The whole Bruce Lee-inspired murder plot was okay, not great, but it was the near-death character development of Monk in the coffin (where he shares a great day with Trudy) that provided some touching moments, and provided Monk the impetus to finally let go of Trudy's office, which would allow Monk to pay for Natalie's expenses. And after all, if it wasn't for Natalie, Monk would have been a goner, so the payback seem fair enough.

I like Natalie alot too. The scenes with Monk and Trudy are always very good and it was kind of sad when they opened the coffin and that was the first time most of them had seen him with a smile on his face.

I thought the show would be done with the cast change but I too find myself enjoying it. Once again, the mystery wasn't so hot but I like the characters and have a few laughs.
Guess it was a bad career move for Sharona (Bitty Schramm...right?)!!!!

Plus, I hope we see more of her so that we can touch back on the storyline of her murder and Monk's investigation of it.

Great show. Loved the Trudy sceens, really added emotion.
Natalie is great, but her line toward Monk about the vow of silence ("You should try it") seemed like a forced line. They have only known each other for a short time. The line would have been great coming from Sharona.
I really like Natalie on the gentle/caring side, I can see her and Monk becoming great friends.

I would be fine with never seeing Trudy again as well. The episodes with her tend to be the weakest and most disjointed, IMO. I wish that they would solve the case.

I'd also be fine with never seeing trudy again, this was a terribly weak episode. Too many many far fetched items, oh look the traffic signal is out. wtf!
Natalie is an excellent addition to the show, and me being the stickler for details noticed that she wears Citizens of Humanity Jeans which run about $180 / pair so the actress appears to be dictating the wardrobe a bit more than the part's salary
