Enough is enough, already. Release Convoy NOW

I mean, why no DVD of Convoy? I saw Convoy on digital cable the other day and it was beautiful...far better video quality over the videotape version I have. This is classic 70s stuff, even if the movie is a cheese-fest.

Also, where is my DVD of Night of the Comet?

Didn't see that thread, but the other one about the boxed set. But thanks for the link.

Doesn't Anchor Bay own the rights to this, based on their licensing to the EMI catalog?? Or does MGM thru the UA catalog??

There's a whole lot of Peckinpah I'd like to see on dvd before Convoy. I'm a shade more anxious for Major Dundee, Ride the High Country, Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid and The Ballad of Cable Hogue.

Convoy... the one Peckinpah movie I dislike even more than Osterman Weekend.

The current DVD release of Convoy shouldn't even count since it's quite horrendous. We need a valid DVD release ASAP!

If buying the piece of shit PFE 'DVD' watch out for the JPD VRD!

I wonder what MGM said to them when they found out they were pirating their property? Scrub that, since PFE has threatened this and other forums for allowing people the right to tell the truth.

I can say on behalf of everybody in the Western World that we all believe PFE to be a legitimate company as proved by their release next month of:

A direct link to their ET release www.pacificfamilyhome.com/soon/et.htm

Can't wait for Glenn Erickson's review of that.

Enough with PFE.

Haven't seen Convoy in a long while. Would love to see it again.
