Thanks, but the few titles I was interested in came up as "unavailable" when I tried to put them in my cart (Currently, the sale items can only be purchased if they are "in stock," but DVD Empire may/may not change this restriction.)

Not being able to add out of stock items suck but coupons and free shipping are valid for sale priced items.

Code 639877 takes $10 off $100 purchase and expires 11/22/04

Damn!

When will companies figure out that they are losing money doing this? There's about four dvds I'd buy right off the bat, but all of them are out of stock, so no sale.

I ordered Le Corbeau, Devil and Daniel Webster and Lone Star for $50.27. I didn't see where I could place the $5 for $50 coupon though and accidently sent the order. I emailed costomer service and hopefully they can still apply it.

Not bad. Though there's only 5 of them I don't already own and only 2 were in stock.

Sometimes if enough people complain DVDEmpire has changed conditions and restrictions to a sale. It didn't matter before with their other sales when an item was not in stock, at least you could still place an order and it would ship when available. I dont't understand why they are limiting it to in stock only.

Thanks a bunch. I got Videodrome CC, Slacker CC, and 44 Minutes all for $48.03 shipped. At DDD, even with the 20% off, it would have been $54.28.

A lot of the out of stock titles are now available again. Was able to get in 2 orders with the coupons. Only ones out of stock at time of this posting are Seventh Seal and Seven Samurai.

Thanks for the post OP!! My CC thanks you.

Picked up Slackers, Videodrome, M. Hulot's Holiday, 8 1/2 & Devil & Daniel Webster CCs - all for $92.35 after $10 off $100 coupon.

Would have picked up 3-4 more, but CC needs a breather after DDD & DVDSoon orders I put in.
